BEDA Day 5

Day 5: If I won the lottery–
What would you do? Finish the statement.

If I won the lottery,
I would put a good amount of the money into savings for college and life after college.
With the rest of the money, I would buy little gifts here and there for my friends,
and use the gifts as reminders of how much I love them.
I would also buy snacks and living supplies for homeless people and pass them out.
I would donate money to organizations which I feel strongly obligated to,
such as Job's Daughters and any organization dealing with the treatment of homeless animals - especially my grandmother's rescue group, Starpaws.

Memorial Service

This morning, I attended my friend's uncle's memorial service.
It was very simple and really nice.
The guy who was speaking had an amazing speaking voice, and every word
he said hit me with such magnificence. My eyes were tearing up the whole time.
Every sentence he said was so quotable.
I'm really glad I went. It made my friend incredibly happy,
and seeing her smile meant the world to me.

"In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

BEDA Day 4

Day 4: Best Advice–That piece of advice you got that you’ll never forget.

So many pieces of advice that I will never forget.
I guess my favorite would be "Everything happens for a reason".

BEDA Day 3

Day 3: Crushes–Celebrity, literary (author/character), musician, actors, intellectual, inexplicable

I do have celebrity crushes and such,
but I'm bad with names.
I don't know who they are.
Show me a picture and I'll tell you if I like them.

BEDA Day 2

Day 2: Day in Haiku–Write about your day in haiku (short 3-line poem w/ 5-7-5 syllable pattern)

I read a letter
Given to my by a boy
Boys are confusing.

BEDA Day 1

Day 1: BEDA Intro–Up to you how to intro yourself.

Hi! My name's Rebecca. I'm 16 years old. Junior in high school. Excited and scared for college, even though I still have senior year. I'm excited for senior year. My school's musical for this year is Wizard of Oz. I'm a tree. And a bunch of other chorus parts. You should come and see it. This is the last weekend. I can say that most the cast has literally put blood sweat and tears into this production. And glass. But that's another story.
